On lunch time discovery of the bistro Avec Sabre!
Since a while I was passing in front of this restaurant without daring to enter. I think my reluctance was that the restaurant is on the first floor and to get there you have to go through the shop on the ground floor. This restaurant opened in April this year. It is primarily a shop that presents the creations of a French cutler manufacturer of the same name. I did not know this brand, but obviously it is a name to reckon in the world of tableware. For my part, I found the designs quite nice, but the products still a bit expensive for knives with plastic sleeves. The atmosphere is very cosy. I choose the menu at 1,500 yen. As starters a small onion soup: good but a little light to my taste. I continued with slices of roast pork accompanied with cabbage. Which is rare in Japan the bread was on demand: I’ve taken three times. But the portions were so small that I had to reorder a fish soup. The hot drink is included in the menu: tea or coffee. To sum up, the experience was good, but I left the restaurant hungry.
